Originally released on Grove Street Records 1987 then signed to Columbia Records (US) and Champion Records (UK) 1988. Keith Thompson (now a house music legend) was the male vocalist on the main mix and later used on most of the remixes. Mason was the voice on the Erotic mix (aka "Drop The Panties mix"). The original female vocalist on the Spanish Fly mix was Jannet Fraginals. The female vocalist on the other language mixes were never documented.  Keith Thompson  Warm up your evenings or mornings with a cup of...     Recorded in East Orange New Jersey by Vaughn Mason with lead vocals by Keith Thompson in 1987, the pioneering days of house music, and released on Grove St. Records (1988), this future classic by Raze was ignored by many clubs and top DJs of the time. The legendary Tony Humphries was one of the only ones to be playing it at his Zanzibar night club when it was released. By the summer of '88 it was a bonifide anthem on the street. Finally, radio could ignore it no longer. It then got signed to Columbia Records. Raze's hypnotic and totally sensual "Break 4 Love" uncovered another more sublime area of House. While the beat is every bit as insistent as most conventional House releases, it was original in its percussive funk. Atleast 25 other releases have sampled its drums and style. The overall vibe and wonderfully subtle lead vocals by Keith Thompson, managed to steer a deeper and more erotic atmosphere from other House records.   "Break 4 Love" hit No.1 on the US Dance chart and later reached the top spot as well in the UK and several countries around the world. Every two or three years subsequently, it has been re-released by its UK distributor, Champion Records in the form of remixes which we present here. But regardless of the remixes, the original mix has always been included in the packages because it still stands the test of time as a classic. Which should be a final testimony that there should be no more remixes. And definitely no Pet Shop Boys cover versions.
